Channel 2 News Anchor and Wings of Eagles customer Neil Orne
recently had the opportunity to promote The Great Tennessee Air Show
in Smyrna, TN as well as fulfill the ultimate dream of any aviation
enthusiast - a demonstration flight with the Blue Angels.

Instructor of Wings of Eagles School of Flight in Smyrna, recently
hosted Boy Scout Troop #374 from Murfreesboro in pursuit of their
Aviation Merit Badges. In addition to their introduction to flight
utilizing the full-motion simulator owned by Wings of Eagles, the
activities for the outing included a weekend stay at the National
Guard Barracks and meals at the dining hall, a tour of Smyrna
Airport and the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Station, a discussion
about runway designations and aerodynamics, a model airplane flight
contest, a meeting with a model airplane enthusiast and flight
controls presentation and a local flight with volunteer
pilot/aircraft owners in conjunction with the Young Eagles Program. |
